Guy of Lusignan is one of the main antagonists of the action-drama film Kingdom of Heaven, the others being Saladin and Raynald of Châtillon. He is portrayed by Marton Csokas. Guy de Lusignan (1150-1194) was the King of Jerusalem from 1186 to 1192, succeeding Baldwin V of Jerusalem and preceding Isabella I of Jerusalem, and King of Cyprus from 1192 to 1194, preceding Aimery of Cyprus. Guy of Lusignan was a French noble who married Sibylla of Jerusalem, sister of Baldwin IV of Jerusalem and heir to the throne. The couple was coronated after Baldwin V of Jerusalem died.
